Biology has the rigour of a science subject and offers a challenging and stimulating course which contains a great deal of interesting information. After all, it's about the life on Earth and how it interacts from the molecular and cellular level up to whole ecosystems. Additionally, Biology requires many transferable skills which will be of use in other subjects, university and the workplace. Data analysis skills are developed and extensively used, problem solving and evaluation is used with regard to data and scientific theory and communication and literacy skills are required for scientific work presentation and report writing.
