On this course you will develop a clear understanding of the importance of food safety as well as a firm knowledge of required systems, techniques and procedures. On completing this qualification you will have the confidence and expertise to prepare and serve food safely to customers. This qualification is relevant to anyone wanting to work in a catering or retail setting where food is served, cooked and handled. A refresher course is recommended every three years.
