The Further Mathematics 1 year AS course is aimed at those people who want a mathematically challenging experience. Conceptually demanding, but very enjoyable and rewarding, the course is excellent preparation for the study of Mathematics at university (or a Mathematics-related subject). Further Mathematics is always taken as a fourth A Level, so the work load will be heavy. The course is not for the faint-hearted - but it is certainly the best possible preparation for Mathematics at university.
