The lush summer vegetation provides food for various insects and this course will explore how the lives of plants and insects are intertwined. There will be a chance for direct observation of wild and cultivated flowers and how these provide food for the many different kinds of insects and other creatures which depend on them. Helpful tips on identification will be an important part of the course as there will be two field visits to local wildlife sites.
