Exploration of Your Historic Landscape is a great opportunity to find out how you can investigate the history around you from an archaeological approach. You will find out how archaeology works and how you might get get involved in the future. We will look at how archaeologists understand the historic landscape around them, using different methods ranging from old maps to geophysics, aerial survey to excavation and looking at how finds help understand the past. This will be a friendly and welcoming course designed to allow you to talk about as well as learn about archaeology.
