Sociology provides many very different perspectives on the world criticising old established views and generating new ones. Sociology addresses the most challenging issues of our time; it is a fast-growing field whose potential is increasingly exploited by those creating programmes to solve social problems. An interest in society is preferred but if you have an open mind then you will enjoy the opportunity to consider social issues from many perspectives.
