Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour and mind in humans and animals. This course is designed to introduce students to various branches of psychology including: Cognitive, Developmental, Physiological, Social, Psychopathology Course Content AS - This course consists of the following: Paper 1: Social influence, Attachment and Memory; Paper 2: Psychopathology, Approaches within Biopsychology and Research and methods. Examinations are in June and consist of two papers. Each paper has a weighting of 50% A Level- This course consists of the following: Three two hour examinations at the end of the two years, and each paper has an equal weighting. Paper 1: Social influence, Attachment, Memory and Psychopathology. Paper 2: Approaches, biopsychology and Research methods. Paper 3: Issues and Debates-three topics.
