During this Apprenticeship you will study the Level 2 Certificate in Retail Skills and Retail Knowledge alongside Functional Skills in Math's and English at Level 1. The development of Personal, Learning and Thinking skills will form a part of your studies also. The Intermediate Apprenticeship will help you build your skills in working in a retail environment and covers areas such as - maintaining food safety, keeping stock on sale at required levels, carrying out promotional campaigns, promoting loyalty schemes, dealing with customer complaints and monitoring payment points. Some specialist units are available depending on the environment you are working in. As part of the Apprenticeship you will also be required to work towards Functional Skills in Maths, English and Information Communication Technology.
