The course includes the study of both microeconomics and macroeconomics. In microeconomics, you will learn how markets work and how markets can fail. You will learn about government intervention to correct market failure.In macroeconomics, you will learn about the UK national economy. In the second year of the course, you will learn about Business Economics and the Global Economy. You will discover the answer to questions such as: Why does the price of petrol keep rising? Why is education free in the UK? Do all nations benefit from free trade and globalisation?
