Sociology GCSE

Sociology is a study of people, their lives and relationships. You will reflect on your own experiences of the world in a variety of social settings. On this course you will study sociological topics such as the mass media, inequality and power. You will develop the ability to look at evidence, judge whether it is correct and come to reasoned conclusions. In the first module you will study culture & socialisation, research methods and the mass media. In the 2nd module you will study social inequalities in the UK and power & political participation.
