An Apprentice working in Health & Social Care will assist senior care workers and social workers to provide care services in nursing or residential homes and also out in the community. You may be employed by the NHS, the local authority or private health organisations. You will work in a customer facing role and will need to develop excellent customer service skills. Working as an Apprentice means you can put your skills into practice as you learn. A combination of workplace and College-based assessment. The apprentice will need to be in employment in a Care organisation.
