The aim of this one-year full-time course is to enable mature learners to gain entry onto a higher level construction-related qualification. The Level Three Access to Higher Education Diploma programme provides an entry qualification to a range of undergraduate programmes and degrees at local and national universities. The course is fast paced and will normally be timetabled for approximately 15 hours per week, for the full academic year. Topics you will study include: Environmental science Sustainability construction technology Health safety and welfare management Airtight technologies in sustainable construction Low carbon techniques and technologies used in buildings Advise clients and customers on sustainable construction Design principles for sustainable construction Construction industry, organisation and procedures Measured surveys and drawings Specification and design of low carbon buildings
