Mathematics is a key subject at A2 and AS Level. Some students continue Mathematics for interest and enjoyment; others choose the subject to support or complement other subject disciplines. The course provides a solid foundation in core mathematics (including algebra, functions, calculus and co-ordinate geometry) as well as giving students an opportunity to explore other areas of applied mathematics.
