UPDATED 20160304 12:09:26

The Advanced Level Media course challenges students to consider the nature of Media in contemporary society. Through practical coursework students take on many roles including: photographer, editor, director and camera operator. The specification integrates theoretical and practical approaches by requiring students to reflect on their coursework experiences in the examination. The examination also challenges students to study current debates in media. All this is underpinned by the study of media language, institutions, audience and representation.
