This is a good choice for able mathematicians with a particular interest in Mathematics. The course covers core mathematics in much greater depth than the standard A Level course (including complex numbers, matrix algebra and polar co-ordinates). It also provides students with a thorough knowledge across all three applied areas of mechanics, statistics and decision maths. It can be taken as part of a three, four or five A Level course and should be of particular interest to students considering studying mathematics at university.
