Theoretical Element (Exercise and Fitness knowledge) includes: Anatomy; Physiology; Kinesiology; Components of Fitness; Health and Lifestyle Screening; Informed Consent; Session Structure and the Principles of Exercise Progression and Adaptation. Practical Element includes: Planning, teaching and evaluating all components of safe and effective exercise sessions.
Name: Exercise to Music (Level 2) Qualification title: Certificate in Fitness Instructing (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment Theoretical Element: Exercise and Fitness Knowledge. This element will be delivered via distance learning; therefore the students will be responsible for their own independent study and a written examination will take place one week prior to the commencement of the practical element. Practical Element: Assessment is continuous, including observations, written plans, evaluations, oral questioning/worksheets.
