Information Technology (Software Development) BTEC Extended Diploma

UPDATED 20160303 15:49:53

"All kinds of business rely on IT, and one of the largest (and most highly paid) areas for employment is software development. You will develop a wide range of skills, with a special focus on computer programming and software development. Although much of your study will involve the creation of computer games, the skills learned are applicable to any area of the industry. The course will be taught in a dedicated computer suite. You will have access to state-of-the-art i7 PCs, and will explore software such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Notepad++ and Visual Studio. The emphasis will be more on software creation than software usage. Our lecturers come from wide-ranging industry backgrounds that include commercial web design, online gaming and interactive television."
