This is a one year GCSE course which is divided into two halves. The first half looks at the 'big questions' - the nature of God the nature of belief the problem of evil and beliefs about life after death. The second half looks at from a religious perspective issues in medical ethics the concepts of power equality and justice and the reality of poverty. In the past given the nature of the class the issues have been approached from an Islamic perspective.
