Who is the Diploma for? This qualification is for people working in health and social settings such as residential homes, supported living, day services, and community care environments. It is suitable for people in job roles with senior and/or supervisory responsibilities within the health and social care sector. This is a rolling programme. How is the Diploma delivered? This diploma is delivered in the workplace and is assessed by a portfolio of evidence. Evidence to be collected will include: workplace observation, witness testimonies, professional discussion, questions and work products evidence. The assessor will also provide valuable skills training as well as assessment. What are the benefits? As a nationally recognised qualification, based on the Health and Social Care National Occupational Standards which are approved by Skills for Care and Development, this qualification serves as the required qualification for registration and regulatory requirement in the social care sector.
