Are you feeling a bit fed up perhaps isolated and low in confidence? Maybe you are looking for something different to lift your spirits and to help you feel good about yourself? Do you sing in the shower or in the car and get a good feeling from it? Well we may have just the thing for you! This course will give you the opportunity to sing in a safe and welcoming environment. As you explore and learn to sing different songs in your group you will be able to discover how beneficial singing can be to your own wellbeing.What experience or skills do I need to join this course?· No skills or experience required and absolutely no auditions.· You do not have to be able to read music. · All you need is a desire to enjoy singing with others and to support each other in the learning group.What is the course about?In a nutshell it is about using singing to maintain or improve your wellbeing in a supportive group setting. Your singing quality will not be judged. All we will need is for you to share via discussion and your Personal Learning Record how singing has helped your wellbeing. For the first session you will need:· A folder or plastic wallet to keep any hand outs· A pen for completing any paperworkAdditional costs and/or resources: None apart from money for refreshments if you require themHow will I know how I am getting on?· Self- assessment using your personal learning record· Discussion with your fellow learners and tutors· Feedback from your tutorAccreditation: not accredited
