Course summaryThis is a fun and enjoyable course that will give you an insight into Spanish culture and Spanish Cuisine. You will learn how to make simple and tasty Spanish Tapas dishes to share with your family and friends. What experience or skills do I need to join this course?No Formal Qualifications are required What is the course about?This is course will give you an insight into the Spanish diet and Mediterranean diet. You will learn how to prepare three or four quick easy and tasty Spanish Tapas dishes that also include vegetarian options demonstrate awareness of metric measurements and be aware of healthy eating options and food safety practices. Further information about our Back to Basics and other cookery courses will also be provided. For the session you will need: · A notebook and pen if you wish to take notes· An Apron Oven Gloves Dish Cloth and 2 Tea Towels· A medium baking tray or an ovenproof dish (can also use ovenproof disposable containers) and two medium sized plastic containers to take dishes home in· An ingredient list will be sent to you a few weeks before the session start date Additional costs and/or resources: · You will have to purchase your own ingredients· Approx. cost £15 - £18· Further information will be sent out to you prior to the session start date How will I know how I am getting on? · Observation and feedback by the tutor· Self assessment· Discussion· Photographs of completed dishes· Food tasting and quizzes Accreditation:N/A
