They are designed to break down barriers for entering the workplace, by building a learner’s confidence to enable them to apply for, secure and sustain employment across a range of sectors. These qualifications are suitable for a variety of learners including: • young people entering the workforce • adults who are looking to return to work • people with special educational needs • people who have English is a second language Units include: ‘Preparing for an interview’, ‘Understanding a Curriculum Vitae’, ‘Understanding job applications’. You don’t need to be working or undertaking a practical placement to take this qualification.
