Sociology

UPDATED 20160302 16:34:09

The Sociology course encourages us to be curious about the everyday world that we take for granted. You will ask questions such as "Why do people queue?" "Why don't more people kill?" "Why do girls do better at GCSE?" Sociology looks at the society we are born into and how it shapes and affects us as individuals. It will encourage you to take an in depth look at current social issues and open your eyes to different cultures, lifestyles, belief systems and values which exist in society today.
