Each student will be assessed and any previous knowledge taken into consideration then a suitable learning aim chosen to suit his or her needs and ability Depending on your assessment you will learn how to:Work with Number:· Use whole numbers in everyday life to solve problems· Understand and use fractions· Use decimals in a practical context· Interpret percentages Learn about Measure and Shape and Space · Understand the properties of shapes· Learn to measure length weight and capacity· Get to know about Money Time and Temperature in practical contextsCollect process and interpret Data.· Extract and sort data from tables and graphs· Interpret a variety of graphs· Calculate averagesYour tutor will give you more information about the course at your first sessionHow will I be taught and will there be any work outside the class?One 2 hour lesson per week and home study is essential in order to achieve.How will I be assessed?Depending upon your particular learning aim you may produce a portfolio or take a written exam either online or paper based at the end of the course.
