Door Supervision Level 2 Award

This security/door training course is for people who want to work as a door supervisor or for individuals who work to provide a more secure leisure environment. It combines theory and practical work and allows you to apply immediately for a door supervision licence. With security jobs available at sports events stadiums concerts licensed premises and more it's an extremely useful qualification.

Name: Door Supervision Level 2 Award Qualification title: Award in Door Supervision (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment On successfully completing this Level 2 course you will receive a recognised industry-standard qualification in door supervision. This gives you the opportunity to apply for an SIA licence. The course develops your skills in: - understanding the private security industry and the role of a door supervisor - knowledge of health and safety in the workplace including awareness of emergency procedures - understanding relevant areas of the law and other legal issues - how to recognise defuse and resolve conflict situations - using effective methods of communication - obtaining physical intervention skillsThe qualification gained is the Level 2 Award in Door Supervision.
