Public Services Certificate BTEC Public Services is a relatively new subject at Aquinas College which offers a wide ranging curriculum touching on areas of Politics, Sociology, Citizenship and Law. It is encourages students to develop their independent research skills and incorporates a range of assessment methods including written reports, video presentations and observed activities. The aim of this course is to familiarise students with the issues faced and tackled by British Public Services, engendering a public service ethos and an awareness of the important role these organisations play in British daily life. We strive to provide a broad based learning experience responding to a range of ideas and themes.
