This Apprenticeship will be for you if are keen and interested in working in the design industry and who can show a creative flair. Apprenticeships combine practical training in a job with study at college. As an Apprentice, you will work along experienced staff, gain job-specific skills and earn a wage. You will study towards a related qualification at college, usually for one day a week. To succeed on this Apprenticeship you must understand the importance of providing high standards of customer service, have good communication and problem solving skills and understand the importance of working in teams. Apprentices are paid from the first day of their apprenticeship and they are entitled to the National Minimum Wage. Apprentices get at least 20 days of paid holiday per year, plus bank holidays. Career progression is excellent for apprentices and, over the course of their careers those with an Apprenticeship earn, on average, £100,000 more than those without.
