This Gym instructing and personal training course is designed to train you to a professionally competent level, enabling you to prescribe, plan and deliver safe and effective exercise programmes developing your skills knowledge to pursue a career in personal training. This qualification includes the Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym) and the Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training (QCF). This qualification will provide entry onto the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) at Level 3. Whilst on this course you will be given the opportunity to complete a number of Level 2 Awards which could include; Kettlebells, Circuits, Studio Cycling (Spinning). You will also develop knowledge of anatomy and physiology, fitness testing and the principles of exercise, health and nutrition. The components of an active and healthy lifestyle and the factors affecting participation in physical activity will also be explored. You will also enhance their understanding of safeguarding and child protection, employment rights and responsibilities and the sport and active leisure industry as a whole.
