Although no specific qualifications are required to take this course it is desirable that students have an interest in current affairs. The course offers students the opportunity to gain knowledge from different disciplines. This involves the study of topics in Science and Technology, the Arts and the Social Sciences and interconnection between these areas of knowledge. Students are given the opportunity to learn through a variety of approaches, these range from formal teaching styles to decision making activities, simulation exercises, the use of ICT and outside speakers. Students find the course both interesting and exciting.
