This qualification gives you the opportunity to build both your managerial and care skills. It also fulfils the regulatory requirement for those looking to become managers of adult residential and domiciliary services. There are five core units. * Use and develop systems that promote communications * Promote professional development * Champion equality diversity and inclusion * Develop health and safety and risk management policies procedures and practices in health and social care or children and young peoples settings * Working in partnership in health and social care and children and young peoples settings. Depending on your job role and the pathway you choose you will complete a certain number of additional core units as follows. * Adults Residential Management Management of day to day provision in a residential service which could be as an assistant manager deputy unit or service manager. May include responsibility as Registered manager of the service * Adults Management Management of day to day provision in a service that is not residential (e.g. domiciliary care day service). This could be as assistant manager deputy unit or service manager. May include responsibility as registered manager of the service. * Adults Advanced Practice Roles within adult social care services that need a high level of knowledge of care provision activities or a specific specialism. Not involved in direct management of staff but has some responsibility for assessment of individuals needs of and ensures positive outcomes
