Photography - An Introduction to Photography

This workshop is for anyone with little or no experience of editing photographs, we will start at the beginning of the editing process and build your skills editing a variety of photographs. Students will need to know how to use a computer, this includes being able to use the mouse and keyboard along with the ability to open and save files and use folders. No prior knowledge of Photoshop or image editing software is required. We will look at various editing tools to allow us to crop and straighten images, set aspect ratios, make colour and tonal edits, along with noise reduction and sharpening, bringing in some creative techniques as well. Time permitting we can look at some of your images if you can bring some images along to the workshop with you. Course hand-outs will be available to assist you to practice the tools and techniques learnt at home.You will be taught by means of practical demonstration and hands on experience.
