This workshop is for anyone with little or no experience of image processing; we will start at the beginning of the editing process and build skills through the use of straight forward projects.Learners will need to know how to use a computer, this includes being able to use the mouse and keyboard along with the ability to open and save files and use folders. No prior knowledge of Photoshop is needed. This workshop will look into the Photoshop user interface, Photoshops' key editing tools and how and when to use them. Working on a variety of images, we will develop the basic skills of image editing via editing projects where these new skills can be practiced. Starting with how to set-white balance, cropping and straightening images, moving onto colour and tonal range adjustments, you will learn the fundamentals of image processing, including noise reduction and sharpening.Hand-outs will be available to assist you to practice the tools and techniques learnt at home. *
