This one day class will address the pros and cons of On Camera Flash compared to Off Camera Flash. The workshop is suited to anyone who wants to learn about using flash, the use of triggers, setting up and positioning flash heads for high key and low key photography. This workshop is also suitable for those who do not own a speedlight and wish to use the course as a means to gain information prior to purchase. Learners will look at using camera flash, setting flash compensation, red eye reduction, front curtain and rear curtain flash, flash modifers, bouncing flash and fill flash. We will look at off camera flash lighting backgrounds for high key and low key photography, the use of flags and reflectors to evenly or creatively light our subject. Course handouts will be available to assist you to practise the tools and techniques learnt at home.*
