Level 3 Extended Diploma in Land Based Technology

An advanced and well established qualification which is recognised by industry as demonstrating technical capability to work in the land based technology and agricultural engineering sectors and can also be used to progress to degree level courses. You will study modules from a selection that could include aspects of land based engineering operations such as: inspect and test machinery and equipment; service and repair engines, hydraulic systems and components; vehicle engine technology; health, safety and welfare; chassis systems; work related experience; workshop practice; science and mathematics for engineers; business management and other detailed aspects of land based service engineering. You would normally study the 90 Credit Diploma in year 1, and progress to the Extended Diploma in year 2.
