A2 level Pure Mathematics involves: Further work in all the above topics plus numerical methods and vectors. Decision involves: Algorithms, route inspection, linear programming and sorting data. Mechanics involves: Mathematical modelling in mechanics, kinematics, forces, Newton?s laws, connected particles, projectiles and momentum. Statistics involves: Numerical measures, probability, binomial distribution, normal distribution, Estimation and correlation and regression. Two Pure modules and one Applied module (Decision, Mechanics or Statistics) per year.
