AS and A level require students to develop their skills recording experiences and observations in a visual form; explore, analyse, discuss and evaluate images and objects; make and record independent judgements understanding the work of others; communicate ideas, solutions and responses in a range of visual forms. AS Level (Year 12) Coursework Portfolio ? 60% Externally Set Assignment ? 40%. The department runs a range of extra-curricular activities from various clubs to Arts Award ? a nationally recognised qualification in the Arts. We also regularly send work to the National Students? Exhibition in London and have been successful in having work exhibited there.
