You will cover all basic aspects of Beauty Therapy including; facial massage, skin care, cosmetic make-up, lash and brow treatments, manicure and pedicure and wax depilation, associated anatomy and physiology. You will also learn how to develop and maintain effectiveness at work, aspects of health and safety. How to promote products and service to clients and how to run a reception desk for a busy salon. You will also gain the following certificates: BTEC Award in Work Skills, Functional Skills and English and Maths You are required to purchase a professional salon uniform, equipment and text books, which will be discussed at your interview.
