You will work on your mathematical and problem-solving skills whilst working towards GCSE. The AQA linear syllabus will be followed. Although homework does not form part of the final assessment, it will be used by the tutor to monitor progress throughout the course. You will require an A4 pad of paper, graph paper, pen, pencil, ruler, protractor, compasses, folder. You will need to buy a suitable calculator; your tutor will advise you about the type you need at the start of the course. Your tutor will also advise you which textbook you will need to buy.
