You will learn Basic Accounting 1 and 2, Basic Costing, Computerised Accounting and Working Effectively in Accounting and Finance. This will include preparing and recording financial documentation, maintaining and reconciling the cash book, maintaining petty cash records, processing business transactions and extracting a trial balance, maintaining the journal and control accounts, providing basic cost and revenue information, computerised accounting and working effectively in accounting and finance. Double entry book-keeping will be taught both manually and using SAGE computerised accounts. Assessment takes place throughout the course by E- assessments marked by the AAT, as well as a practical demonstration/assignment.
