Level 2 Furniture Studies

This course is delivered in purpose built workshops offering industry standard facilities. You will produce hand made furniture with the aid of machines, on which you will be given thorough training. The designing, planning, preparation, jointing and finishing of furniture will be included in the course. You will gain an appreciation of the development of furniture styles, materials, and manufacture through studying the technology behind furniture design and making. The skills and techniques gained at Level 2 will form a foundation for the Level 3 course in which your skills will become more refined with a higher degree of efficiency and accuracy.
