C07C06CW: The aim of this course is to learn to cook recipes containing low carbohydrates, low salt, low fat and sugar. This course is designed to promote safe working practices in the kitchen. It is aimed at either men or women with cooking knowledge who wish to learn some exciting new recipes. You will be able to work reasonably at your own pace and have the ability to multitask. You should have enthusiasm, patience and a keen interest in cookery. You need to be able to research independently about the subject and culture.

The ILR is a way for you to identify your strengths, challenges and interests and set your own personal targets. This, in turn, will inform the tutor of your starting point and ensure you get the best out of your course. With your tutor you will revisit the ILR regularly so that progress and further actions can be discussed, agreed and recorded.
