Working with children - NCFE level 1 award

Are you dreaming about working with children but have no experience and no childcare qualification in place? The Working with Children level 1 course might be the best first step to your career in childcare. On this 20 week course you will develop the foundations of how to promote good practice, positive attitudes and responses to different cultures, genders and abilities while working with children. You will learn how to communicate, listen and co-operate with other members of the team and plan and carry out activities for children. This level 1 course opens up a progression route to higher level courses building the skills and knowledge to become a qualified childcare practitioner. You will study in a stimulating atmosphere with the guidance of an experienced tutor, as well as gain some hands-on experience from attending a placement. This course is subject to a pre-course assessment (PCA) and requires booking an appointment prior to enrolment.
