When you study Ancient History, you learn to understand and evaluate written material, to express yourself fluently in written and oral communication, and to research, organise and present arguments. A Level Ancient History is a qualification respected by universities and is useful in a variety of careers such as archaeology, teaching, and the further pursuit of historical thought. The study of Ancient History complements languages, Classical Civilisation (NC109), Archaeology (NC102) and History (NC128, 129 & 130).
