The course will provide an insight for parents and carers who are supporting a child with numeracy skills. Learners will gain confidence in recognising and using techniques to support maths development and will improve their own skills to enable them to achieve a Functional maths qualification at an appropriate level. By the end of the course learners will be able to: • Support maths skills in the home • Create a range of games and activities to support maths • Calculate and problem solve at an appropriate level
