This hands-on, practical and applied management course with a contemporary focus. It is taught with a real-world approach and in a highly supportive and welcoming environment by tutors who have real business experience. This course allows you to explore key principles of marketing, organisational behaviour, and business analysis. You investigate the environments in which businesses operate, law as it applies to business, as well as management reporting and the management of professional development. You can learn how to effectively communicate with and lead people, how to manage activities to achieve results, and how to manage financial resources. The college has a strong enterprise culture and supports students to develop their entrepreneurial skills through competitions both locally and nationally. The HNC will be broken down into 2 semesters with four units delivered per semester. All units will require a significant amount of private study designed to develop both your technical and communication skills. Each unit will require the submission of an assignment based on the semester's content. Your assignment will be graded with a pass, merit or distinction with all units counting towards your final HND.
