This one day course is designed for anyone who is using Electrical Overhead Travelling Cranes (E.O.T.C) for maintenance or during their daily production tasks. The course would need to be carried out on company premises. Modules: - Health & Safety - Statutory Regulations - Planning the lift - Estimation of weights and centre of gravity - Types, purpose and use of lifting equipment - Methods of lifting / slinging configurations and combinations - Selecting the appropriate equipment - Pre-use checks/inspection of equipment - Identify faults - isolating equipment - report procedures - Conducting a lift - Signalling - Correct methods of storing lifting equipment - Practical Assessment using E.O.T.C (company to provide)
