The level 2 Sport Coaching course is a full time one year programme designed for students that wish to pursue a career in sports coaching, teaching and/or sports development. This qualification is designed to provide you with a working knowledge of the sports industry, specifically looking at the three main areas of coaching, teaching and development. Whilst on the programme you will complete a range of theoretical and practical tasks and have the opportunity to complete a range of work placements in order to support your career aspirations. We run a series of taster sessions during the year for you to come and have a go to see if this is the right choice for you. Extended Description Learners will complete a range of sports related units including; - Sports Coaching - Practical Team Sports - Organising Sports Events Future Opportunities Once you have completed this course, you will be able to go onto study the Level 3 Sport course, alternatively seek part-time/full-time employment in the sport/leisure industry
