This course is for people who want to develop basic skills in electronics and mechanical engineering. This course will give students a good all-round grounding for a career or academic pursuit in electronics and mechanical engineering. It covers a wide range of skills that can be adapted for many specialist areas. The Electronics units will develop skills in electronic circuit construction and testing using electronic equipment and tools along with skills and knowledge of electrical and electronic equipment servicing. The Mechanical units will provide students with skills using lathes, drills, milling machines and hand tools.
