This is a course for those who have a keen interest in creative subjects and want to enhance and extend their practical 2D and 3D skills. During this course you will gain practical experience working in state-of-the-art studios and create art and design work that is self-directed and supported by tutors with professional experience.You will learn how to explain and evaluate your own working methods through discussion and assignments. The majority of materials - paper, clay, card, plaster and plastics - are provided free of charge. However, students are expected to provide for themselves sketchbooks and a tool-box containing a range of drawing, painting, craft-tools, stationery and a pocket dictionary - thesaurus. An A1 portfolio in order to transport work to and from college is also required. An equipment list will be issued to learners upon acceptance onto the course.
