Introduction to Ceramics Level 1 Award

This pottery throwing course offers the opportunity for students to learn the basic skills and techniques of making thrown pots within a structured qualification course. Alongside clay preparation, throwing basic forms and turning, there will be an opportunity to develop shapes and experiment with slip and glazes.

Name: Introduction to Ceramics Level 1 Award Qualification title: Award in Creative Craft (QCF) Qualification type: Other regulated/accredited qualification Assessment Level 1 Ceramics will be assessed on a continual basis. The tutor will use observation, discussion, individual tutorials and targeted tasks with feedback. Formal assessment will take place at the end of the course. Entry requirements
